Steam Regenerator

Use

Steam Regenerator makes pure steam from hot water or technological steam. This type of steam regenerator is able to be used especially for production of sterile steam for medicine purposes, in foodstuff industry, where is hygienically pure steam needed.

Description

Steam Regenerator is based on principle of steam exchanger – steam or water – steam, dependent on heating medium. Heating medium – hot water or technological steam – is fetched into multi-pipe exchanger, which is mounted in cylindrical pressure vessel of regenerator. Inside of multi-pipe exchanger in a body of the regenerator is permanently kept sufficient amount of treated water, from which is the steam with required parameters produced.

Steam Regenerator consists of these parts:

  • Body of regenerator – cylindrical horizontal pressure vessel with built-in multi-pipe exchanger.
  • Output regulation – secured by convenient regulation valve on side of heating medium inlet into multi-pipe exchanger.
  • Regulation of treated feed water level in body of regenerator – consists of convenient regulator, which controls feed pump. Usually feed control on – off is chosen.
  • Subtle accessories of regenerator – equipment with subtle accessories corresponds to equipment of pressure vessel i.e. to boiler including intermittent and continues blowdown.
  • Steam Regenerator is equipped with thermal insulation and is placed on a steel frame.

Design

Steam regenerators are supplied completely equipped, provided with thermal insulation. Steam regenerator is placed on a steel frame, to which is feed pump and switchboard box fastened. The performance of the regenerator body and material selection itself is dependent on required parameters and required quality of pure steam. The body of regenerator including heating lining and fittings are usually made of stainless steel. As an option it is possible to equip the regenerator with water treatment of feed water.
